foto is a new international social media photo app that is similar to but also technologically very different than Instagram. Among its most appealing features is no forced cropping of images. It also allows for the inclusion of short essays and poems.
foto is a much more positive way to share images with other photographers. At the time of this writing, it is not viewable in its entirety by the public and it is accessible only by those who have accounts, but previews of specific pages are available in links provided by the photographers .

Online collections of photographs, essays and poems, or web journals, are often (but not always) closed to the public to prevent unauthorized access and reproduction of the content.
However, individual collections are opened upon request to interested photographers, writers, organizations and institutions. (Registrations and passwords are never required.) Please contact Marc for access.
